BSF lifecycle

What is BSF?

Black Soldier Fly (BSF) (Hermetia illucens) is an eco-friendly insect species known for its remarkable ability to convert organic waste into high-value resources. The larvae of BSF are rich in protein, healthy fats, and essential nutrients, making them an excellent sustainable ingredient for animal feed and aquaculture. In addition to reducing organic waste, BSF by-products such as frass (larval residue) can be used as an organic fertilizer that improves soil health and plant growth. This natural process not only supports a circular economy but also provides an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional feed and fertilizer sources.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
